Different approach

I really like the idea of a mural in this illustration, just didn’t really feel the first.  Started doing a complete paint-over. Just experimenting really. Maybe it’s gonna be a Griffon, maybe a phoenix, I dunno.

    What’s up. Looks like somebody has been sippin pure inspiration, man.
    The idea is very cool, as is it’s execution. The yellowy orange background colours are warming up the figure. Oranges and blues are working great. The transition of griffon to the part of the old background is pretty cool too, colorwise.
    The legs could use some more bounce-lights perhaps?
    Keep it up!

    How about an art-meet anytime soon? And actually do some art :)
    Like last time with Theunis and Sander. Will bring beer, crisps and artbooks!
