This is the toy I mentioned in my previous post. I managed to do some touch-ups using white gouache. Unfortunatley I couldn’t prevent some ink smudges upon re-assembling the darn thing (I decapitated it before the process). Next time use better ink and never ever use varnish!

Also made possible by my lovely douchebag friends who thought it would be funny to sneak in a My Little Pony between my moderate (but totally awesome!) urban vinyl collection…which actually was kinda funny when I found out. It gave me quite a nice platform to doodle on with a sharpie.

I customized another blanc toy with a sharpie. Spend two days working on it and turned out great IMO, untill I decided to spray a layer of varnish on top to give it a nice glossy finish and also prevent the ink from smudging… uhu, pretty much the stupidest thing I’ve done this year. Apparantly sharpie ink on vinyl and varnish for oils and acrylics don’t get along that well…I still might be able to safe most of it with some heavy touch-ups, but man that ruined my day. Made me buy a bunch of new blanc Munny’s.
